STE-based encrypted relational database scheme with reduced leakages

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报
Recently, the concept of partially precomputed indexing for Structured query language (SQL) join (PpSj), which was predicated on structured encryption, has been introduced.

On Complexity of Standard Forms for Multifunctions

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2017
Consider discrete functions defined on set A. In this case we define multifunctions as functions on set $2^A$. Values of a multifunction for inputs equal to one-element sets are given and values for other sets are calculated as a union of values on ...

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

A new kind of Bernstein-Schurer-Stancu-Kantorovich-type operators based on q-integers

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
Agrawal et al. (Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 8:169-180, 2015) introduced a Stancu-type Kantorovich modification of the operators proposed by Ren and Zeng (Bull. Korean Math. Soc.

Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Demonstration of an All‐Optical AND Gate Mediated by Photochromic Molecules

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A logic AND gate that runs on photons is demonstrated. It relies on two spatially separated photochromic molecules that work in tandem. Abstract The realization of a photonic logic AND gate, i.e. a logic AND gate that runs on photons rather than electrons, and where all steps are controlled by light, is demonstrated. In a proof‐of‐principle experiment,

On Decomposition of Sub-definite Partial Boolean Functions

open access: yesJournal of Siberian Federal University. Mathematics & Physics, 2016
Summary: In this article we study Boolean functions with two kinds of indeterminacy. We prove criterion of decomposition of this functions including separating decomposition. As a result we have method that allows to obtain representation of an arbitrary function using superposition of functions that have smaller dimentions.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Hybrid modeling of cell signaling and transcriptional reprogramming and its application in C. elegans development

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2011
Modeling of signal driven transcriptional reprogramming is critical for understanding of organism development, human disease, and cell biology. Many current modeling techniques discount key features of the biological sub-systems when modeling multi ...

Alkali Ion‐Incorporated HfO2 Dielectrics for Reconfigurable Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) transistor with an alkali cation‐integrated hafnium dioxide (HfO2) dielectric exhibiting synaptic behavior via ion retention. The solution‐based film fabrication strategy overcomes the limitations of atomic layer deposition (ALD) and precursor coating, enabling the control of synaptic retention ...
