A Method for Image Decontamination Based on Partial Differential Equation

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2015
This paper will introduce the method to apply partial differential equations for the decontamination processing of images. It will establish continuous partial differential mathematical models for image information and use specific solving methods to ...

Partial linearization for nonautonomous differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
In this paper, we prove the partial linearization for n-dimensional nonautonomous differential equations. The conditions are formulated in terms of the dichotomy spectrum.

Targeting the AKT/mTOR pathway attenuates the metastatic potential of colorectal carcinoma circulating tumor cells in a murine xenotransplantation model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

Partial differential equations with piecewise constant delay

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1991
The influence of certain discontinuous delays on the behavior of solutions to partial differential equations is studied. In Section 2, the initial value problems (IVP) are discussed for differential equations with piecewise constant argument (EPCA) in ...

On the splitting-up method for rough (partial) differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
This article introduces the splitting method to systems responding to rough paths as external stimuli. The focus is on nonlinear partial differential equations with rough noise but we also cover rough differential equations. Applications to stochastic partial differential equations arising in control theory and nonlinear filtering are given.

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Symmetry Analysis of Semi-Linear Partial Differential Equations and Forward Backward Stochastic Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We examine the Lie symmetries of a semi-linear partial differential equations and their connections to the analogous symmetries of the forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs), established through the generalized Feynman-Kac formula.

Reductions and exact solutions of a cubic Schrodinger Partial Differential Equation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Lie symmetry analysis is an established method for generating symmetries of differential equations. We apply this method together the generalized fundamental theorem of double reduction. In particular, Noether symmetries and some associated conservation laws are constructed in our investigation to find exact solutions of higher order partial ...
