Sex‐Related Differences in Efficacy and Safety Outcomes in Axial Spondyloarthritis Randomized Clinical Trials: A Systematic Literature Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective We aimed to assess differences in baseline characteristics, efficacy, and safety of advanced therapies between male and female patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) in randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Methods We conducted a systematic literature search for RCTs assessing the efficacy of advanced therapies in patients with axSpA ...

Counting H-colorings of partial k-trees

open access: yes, 2000
The problem of counting all H-colorings of a graph G of n vertices is considered. While the problem is, in general #P-complete, we give linear time algorithms that solve the main variants of this problem when the input graph G is a k-tree or, in the case where G is directed, when the underlying graph of G is a k-tree.

Lower bounds for the game colouring number of partial k-trees and planar graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2008
AbstractThis paper discusses the game colouring number of partial k-trees and planar graphs. Let colg(PTk) and colg(P) denote the maximum game colouring number of partial k trees and the maximum game colouring number of planar graphs, respectively. In this paper, we prove that colg(PTk)=3k+2 and colg(P)⩾11.

Numerical Studies of Influencing Factors on the Homogeneity of the Powder Mixture during the Powder Spreading Process of Powder Bed Fusion–Laser Beam/Metal

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
AISI 304L stainless steel powder is mixed with silicon nitride (Si3N4) powder and processed by PBF‐LB/M, allowing partial retention of Si3N4. The numerical approach effectively predicts the Si3N4 powder homogeneity and N content distribution on the powder bed. Recent studies have focused on the alloying of nitrogen (N) in high‐alloy stainless steels by

Molecular epidemiology of salmonid alphavirus (SAV) subtype 3 in Norway

open access: yesVirology Journal, 2010
Background Pancreas disease (PD) is a viral fish disease which in recent years has significantly affected Norwegian salmonid aquaculture. In Norway, the aetiological agent salmonid alphavirus (SAV) has been found to be represented by the subtype 3 only ...

Simulation of Inhomogeneous Refractive Index Fields Induced by Hot Tailored Forming Components

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a simulation model for simulating inhomogeneous refractive index fields (IRIF) in hot‐forged components, accounting for thermal influences and complex geometries. Through this simulation, a priori knowledge about the propagation of the IRIF can be obtained, allowing for the positioning of the component or an optical measurement ...
