Stochastic Partial Differential Equations: Kolmogorov Operators and Invariant Measures
Jahresbericht der Deutschen Mathematiker-Vereinigung, 2011Stochastic partial differential equations are an important tool in the modelling and analysis of complex random dynamical systems. We present a survey on the semigroup approach to their solution and on the main concepts applied today to analyze them.

Measuring the similarity of integral curves is fundamental to many important flow data analysis and visualization tasks such as feature detection, pattern querying, streamline clustering and hierarchical exploration. In this paper, we introduce FlowString, a novel approach that extracts shape invariant features from streamlines and utilizes a string ...

Structural Equation Modeling: A Multidisciplinary Journal, 2017
The alignment method (Asparouhov & Muthen, 2014) is an alternative to multiple-group factor analysis for estimating measurement models and testing for measurement invariance across groups. Simulation studies evaluating the performance of the alignment for estimating measurement models across groups show promising results for continuous indicators. This

Kim et al. (2013) developed a four-dimensional 16-item measure of public service motivation (PSM), but it failed to achieve metric invariance across the 12 countries studied.

The power of the likelihood ratio test in multiple group confirmatory factor analysis under partial measurement invariance is studied. A six-variable, two-factor model is considered where a specification error exists for one group. The size of the specification error as well as the size of the free parameters are varied.
