TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

On the continuity of partial actions of Hausdorff groups on metric spaces [PDF]
We provide a sufficient condition for a separately continuous partial action of a Hausdorff group on a metric space to be continuous.Proporcionamos condiciones suficientes para que una acción parcial separadamente continua de un grupo de Hausdorff en un ...

A practical approach to fixed point theory in partial-metric spaces using simulation functions
This paper investigates coincidence point results for self-mappings in partial-metric spaces via simulation functions. By introducing a generalized contraction condition involving a simulation function and an auxiliary mapping $H$, we establish ...

Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Generalized Fixed Point Theorems in Partial Metric Spaces
This paper consist of some generalized fixed point theorems in partial metric spaces. The concept of T-F -contractive mappings are introduced in partial metric space and thus, a generalization of Banach's, Kannan's, Chatterjea's, Bianciari&

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new notion of a strong partial b-metric space, discuss the notions of completeness via variants of Cauchy sequences and provide a 0-Cauchy completion result for the spaces.
