Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy

Journal of Endourology, 2005
With continuing rapid changes in endourology, we conducted a new survey of practice trends and expanded our sampling to include non-American urologists. The survey was done via the Internet using the database for the 2003 World Congress of Endourology. Approximately 1100 surveys were sent, and responses were received from 193 urologists, who had been in

Comparison of perioperative outcomes among patients with exophytic, mesophytic, and endophytic renal tumors undergoing robot‐assisted partial nephrectomy

International journal of urology, 2022
It has been well documented that partial nephrectomy for completely endophytic renal tumors is a highly challenging procedure accompanied by several technical difficulties even with the assistance of a robotic surgical system. This study aimed to compare

Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy

BJU International, 2007
In properly selected patients, partial nephrectomy yields oncologic efficacy similar to that of traditional radical nephrectomy. We have performed more than 415 laparoscopic radical nephrectomies over the 5-year period beginning in September 1999. All patients undergo a three-dimensional CT scan with 3-mm sections prior to the operation.

Robotic partial nephrectomy vs minimally invasive radical nephrectomy for clinical T2a renal mass: a propensity score‐matched comparison from the ROSULA (Robotic Surgery for Large Renal Mass) Collaborative Group

BJU International, 2020
To compare outcomes of minimally invasive radical nephrectomy (MIS‐RN) and robot‐assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) in clinical T2a renal mass (cT2aRM).

Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy

Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations, 2000
Abstract Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy is technically difficult but oncologically effective. The operation should be performed in centers with expertise. Hemostasis can be achieved using bipolar coagulation and fibrin glue-coated cellulose. Further studies will determine whether less invasive alternatives (focused ultrasound, cryotherapy) will ...

Robot-assisted partial nephrectomy: 7-year outcomes.

Minerva urologica e nefrologica = The Italian journal of urology and nephrology, 2020
BACKGROUND The role of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) in the management of renal masses has exponentially grown over the past 10 years. Nevertheless, data on long term outcomes of the procedure remains limited. Herein we report oncological and
