A Phase‐Resolved Geometric Deep Learning Framework Maps Structural Determinants of Disease‐Associated Protein Aggregation and Guides Suppressor Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SKALE 2.0 maps disease‐associated protein aggregation as a phase‐resolved structural process, linking mutation‐induced geometric perturbations to nucleation, elongation, and suppressor design. Across neurodegenerative proteins, the framework reveals cryptic aggregation vulnerabilities, separates phase‐concordant and phase‐switching mutations, and ...

Dual‐Mode Nanoporous SiO2 Memristors with Coexisting Volatile and Nonvolatile Dynamics for Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nanoporous SiO2 memristor enabling reconfigurable volatile and non‐volatile switching within a single device is demonstrated. The dual‐mode functionality supports both physical reservoir dynamics and synaptic weight storage, allowing unified hardware implementation of reservoir computing for temporal information processing, including image and ...

Multiscale Circuit Architecture Associated With Memory Dysfunction in Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multiscale precision‐mapping framework reveals that memory impairment in temporal lobe epilepsy arises from the convergence of focal medial temporal pathology, strategic white matter disconnection, and limbic‐centered metabolic network dysfunction.

Enhancing All‐Solid‐State Batteries Performance Through Thickness Control and Surface Passivation of Thermally Evaporated Lithium Metal Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that thermally evaporated lithium anodes combined with LiF passivation provide a high‐performance thin anode design for next‐generation ASSBs. This approach increases the critical current density from 1.6 to 2.6 mA cm−2, enabling full cells to achieve over 500 and 300 cycles at 1.5 and 3 mA cm−2, respectively, outperforming even

Subversion of Atypical Mucin Traps by a Spore‐Coat Effector Blocks Cellular Immunity in Drosophila

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
While the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii can evade insect humoral immunity, its subversion of cellular defenses is still elusive. We identify Eac1 as a spore‐coat protein essential for infecting drosophilids by targeting atypical mucins (Sgf1 and Sgf2), which can entrap spores in a gel matrix and thereby facilitate hemocyte encapsulation.

Metal Battery Anode: Rich in Electrons, Rich in Problems: A Critical Review from Industrial Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metal‐anode batteries using Li, Na, Mg, and Ca offer exceptionally high energy density, but dendrites, unstable interphases, cracking, and pore formation hinder durability and safety. This review shows how careful electrolyte and interphase design can stabilize these reactive metals.
