A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Design and Control of Fractional-Order Systems Based on Fractal Operators
In recent years, we have abstracted physical fractal space from biological structures and movements within living organisms, revealing the profound intrinsic connections between fractional order time and fractional-dimensional space, and providing ...

An efficient construction of polar codes based on the general partial order
Traditionally, the construction of polar codes requires intense computations to sort all bit channels. In previous works, two types of partial orders (POs) of polar codes were proposed to decrease the computations in the construction process.

Preferences over Meyer’s Location-Scale Family [PDF]
This paper extends Meyer’s (1987) location-scale family with general n random seed sources. Firstly, we clarify and generalize existing results to this multivariate setting.

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Dead Ends in Misere Play: The Misere Monoid of Canonical Numbers
We find the misere monoids of normal-play canonical-form integer and non-integer numbers. These come as consequences of more general results for the universe of `dead-ending' games.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Push-pull alkenes: structure and p-electron distribution [PDF]
Push-pull alkenes are substituted alkenes with one or two electron-donating substituents on one end of C=C double bond and with one or two electron-accepting substituents at the other end.
