A generalized model companion for a theory of partially ordered fields

Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1979
The notion of a model companion for a first-order theory T was introduced and discussed in [1] and [2] as a generalization of the concept of a model completion of a theory. Both concepts reflect, on a general model theoretic level, properties of the theory of algebraically closed fields.

Generating All Forest Extensions of a Partially Ordered Set

2003
Let P and P′ be partially ordered sets, with ground set E, |E| = n, and relation sets R and R′, respectively. Say that P′ is an extension of P when R ⊆ R′. A partially ordered set is a forest when the set of ancestors of any given element forms a chain. We describe an algorithm for generating the complete set of forest extensions of an order P.
