Unitarity, analyticity, dispersion relations and resonances in strongly interacting $W_L W_L$, $Z_L Z_L$ and $hh$ scattering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
If the Electroweak Symmetry Breaking Sector turns out to be strongly interacting, the actively investigated effective theory for longitudinal gauge bosons plus Higgs can be efficiently extended to cover the regime of saturation of unitarity (where the ...

Experimental Study About Water Saturation Influence on Changes in Reservoirs Petrophysical Properties

open access: yesWalailak Journal of Science and Technology, 2021
Experimental determination of the physical properties of rocks under conditions simulating in situ reservoir conditions is of great importance both for the calculation of reserves and for the interpretation of well logging data.

EFFICIENCY OF OXYGEN THERAPY BY HEAD BOX FOR ACUTE RESPIRATORY FAILURE IN INFANTS [PDF]

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Pediatrics, 2013
Oxygen therapy is the main treatment method for acute respiratory failure in children. The method consisting in the administration of oxygen therapy by head box to infants is frequently used in pediatric practice. Objectives.

Semiclassical solution to the BFKL equation with massive gluons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we proceed to study the high energy behavior of a scattering amplitudes in the Yang-Mills theory with the Higgs mechanism for the gauge boson mass.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Preferences of Pediatric Patients and Their Caregivers for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Control Endpoints: A Mixed Methods Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Suppression of electron spin relaxation in Mn-doped GaAs

open access: yes, 2007
We report a surprisingly long spin relaxation time of electrons in Mn-doped p-GaAs. The spin relaxation time scales with the optical pumping and increases from 12 ns in the dark to 160 ns upon saturation.

Pulmonary Dysfunction Is Associated With Sleep Study Abnormalities in Children With Sickle Cell Disease: A Multicenter Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

Selective dilution and magnetic properties of La_{0.7}Sr_{0.3}Mn_{1-x}M'_xO_3 (M' = Al, Ti)

open access: yes, 2006
The magnetic lattice of mixed-valence Mn ions in La$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$ is selectively diluted by partial substitution of Mn by Al or Ti. The ferromagnetic transition temperature and the saturation moment decreases with substitution in both series ...

The Significance of Multiple Saturation Points in the Context of Polybaric Near-fractional Melting [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Experimental petrologists have successfully located basaltic liquid compositions parental to mid-ocean ridge basalt that are, within experimental resolution, multiply saturated with three-phase harzburgite or four-phase lherzolite assemblages on their ...
