The Dynamics of Interfacial Trap States in High‐Detectivity Near‐Infrared Photomultiplication Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Photomultiplication organic photodetectors (PM OPDs) are an attractive strategy for health‐monitoring. Here, PM‐OPDs are reported with a specific detectivity of 5.7 × 1012 Jones and external quantum efficiency values of 3500% under −10 V. The dynamics of carrier trapping in these devices are elucidated through trap selective spectroscopical techniques.

Strategic Perturb and Observe Algorithm for Partial Shading Conditions

open access: yesSir Syed University Research Journal of Engineering and Technology, 2022
Solar photovoltaic (PV) is the cheapest renewable resource of electrical energy. Its dependence on the connected load bounds its production capability. To deliver the determined power, it is required to operate at the maximum power point (MPP) in the characteristic curve of the PV array.

Solvent‐Free Bonding Mechanisms and Microstructure Engineering in Dry Electrode Technology for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dry electrode technology revolutionizes battery manufacturing by eliminating toxic solvents and energy‐intensive drying. This work details two promising techniques: dry spray deposition and polymer fibrillation. How their unique solvent‐free bonding mechanisms create uniform microstructures for thicker, denser electrodes, boosting energy density and ...

Bioinspired Bromination Enables Extensible, Strain‐Stiffening Resilin Peptide Scaffolds with Tunable Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioinspired bromination of a resilin‐derived peptide enables the fabrication of electrospun nanofibrous scaffolds that uniquely combine strain‐stiffening elasticity, proteolytic stability, and antioxidant functionality. These brominated peptide–gelatin hybrids mimic the extensibility of natural elastomers, demonstrating tunable mechanical resilience ...

Honey Badger Algorithm Using Partial Shading Condition MPPT Technique

open access: yesInternational Journal of Intelligent Systems and Applications in Engineering
The maximum production of electricity is needed to satisfy the consumption from sources of renewable energy, like solar power. The renewable energy source known as solar energy is also environmentally benign, making it an excellent option for power generation.

4D Mapping of ZIF Biocomposites for High Protein Loading and Tunable Release Profiles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Systematic four‐dimensional mapping of zeolitic imidazolate framework biocomposites reveals how precursor ratios, total concentration, and washing define crystalline phase, protein loading, and release kinetics. This comprehensive study identifies conditions yielding record loading (∼85%) and precise phase–property correlations.

Energy Management of Photovoltaic System under Partially Shaded Conditions

open access: yes, 2018
One of the recent concerns in the photovoltaic (PV) system practice is solving the mismatching losses due to the partially shaded conditions. Mismatching problems mean that the I-V and P-V curves between the shaded and non-shaded parts of PV module are totally different. Under mismatching condition, multiple local peaks can be observed in the PV module

LANDSAT 3 return beam vidicon response artifacts: A report on RBV photographic product characteristics and quality coding system [PDF]

open access: yes
Analysis of large volumes of LANDSAT 3 RBV digital data that were converted to photographic form led to the firm identification of several visible artifacts (objects or structures not normally present, but producted by an external agency or action) in ...
