Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Simulation of the effect of shading on monocrystalline solar module technology under hot spot condition [PDF]
This paper focuses on the monocrystalline PV module technology subjected to operation conditions with some cells partially or fully shaded. A shaded cell under hot-spot condition operating at reverse bias are dissipating power instead of delivering power.

Analysis of surface parametrizations for modern photometric stereo modeling [PDF]
Tridimensional shape recovery based on Photometric Stereo (PS) recently received a strong improvement due to new mathematical models based on partial differential irradiance equation ratios.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Characterization of Photovoltaic Module Under Random Partial Shading Conditions
Abstract Photovoltaic (PV) systems have been gaining the pace in energy market for the past decade. Reducing capital costs and government incentives are among other factors that drive the PV forward. PV massively depends on the sunlight that falls onto its surface to generate electricity.

Detecting Defective Bypass Diodes in Photovoltaic Modules using Mamdani Fuzzy Logic System [PDF]
In this paper, the development of fault detection method for PV modules defective bypass diodes is presented. Bypass diodes are nowadays used in PV modules in order to enhance the output power production during partial shading conditions.

New constraints on data-closeness and needle map consistency for shape-from-shading [PDF]
This paper makes two contributions to the problem of needle-map recovery using shape-from-shading. First, we provide a geometric update procedure which allows the image irradiance equation to be satisfied as a hard constraint.
