Tandem Takeoff: Powering Tomorrow with Industrial‐Grade Perovskite/Silicon Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 16, Issue 5, 4 February 2026.
Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells have recently achieved certified power conversion efficiencies of 34.85%, far exceeding the Shockley‐Queisser limit for single‐junction silicon and standalone perovskite cells. This review highlights the latest advances in the design, integration, and optimization of perovskite top cells for monolithic tandem ...

A comparative study of solar photovoltaic array configurations to optimize power harvesting in a real-world system under various partial shading conditions [PDF]

open access: yes
Partial shading (PS) significantly reduces power generation and efficiency in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This research presents a novel totalcross-tied (TCT) methodology designed to mitigate shading effects by optimizing array layout while ...

Pubertal Hormones and the Early Adolescent Female Brain: A Multimodality Brain MRI Study

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 47, Issue 2, February 1, 2026.
A multimodal analysis with cross‐validation was employed to examine the associations between pubertal hormones (oestradiol, testosterone, and dehydroepiandrosterone) and brain structure and function in early adolescent females. The findings indicate both unique and overlapping neural correlates of these hormones.

Design of a MPPT System Based on Modified Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm in Photovoltaic System under Partially Shaded Condition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Conventional Maximum Potential Monitoring strategies such as perturbation and observation, incremental conduct, and climbing can effectively monitor the maximum power point in uniform shading, whereas failing in a partially shaded condition. Nevertheless,

T1‐weighted fMRI in mouse visual cortex using an iron oxide nanoparticle contrast agent and UTE imaging at 9.4 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 2, Page 680-692, February 2026.
Abstract Purpose This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using T1‐weighted fMRI with an iron oxide nanoparticle contrast agent and UTE imaging at 9.4 T to measure functional hyperemia in the mouse visual cortex. The goal is to capture positive signal changes in both the parenchyma and pial surface, and to test whether surface vessels respond ...

Development of Maximum Power Extraction Algorithms for PV system With Non-Uniform Solar Irradiances [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This thesis addresses the problem of extraction of maximum power from PV arrays subjected to non-uniform solar irradiances e.g partial shading. In the past, a number of maximum power point tracking algorithms (MPPTs) such as Perturb & Observe, Hill ...

Modeling, simulation and performance analysis of solar PV array configurations (Series, Series–Parallel and Honey-Comb) to extract maximum power under Partial Shading Conditions

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2018
The main design objective of the solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is to extract the maximum power from the PV systems for a long time. The amount of power extracted from the PV array can be affected by temperature, solar irradiation, dust accumulation ...
