High-speed transmission characteristics of nonlinear spectral broadening carrier in turbulent channel

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2021
The nonlinear spectral broadening light source was used as a partially coherent carrier source with high repetition frequency to carry out experimental research on high-speed information transmission in atmospheric turbulence channels.A partially ...

Partial Recovery of Coherence Loss in Coherence-Assisted Transformation

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
Coherence-assisted transformation under incoherent operations is discussed. For transformation from the pure state to the mixed state, we show that the coherence loss can be partially recovered by adding auxiliary coherent states. First, we discuss the coherence-assisted transformation for qubit states and give the sufficient and necessary condition ...

Experimental Study on Partially Coherent Optical Coherent Detection

open access: yesPhotonics
When coherent detection occurs, the polarization mismatch between signal light and local oscillator light can reduce the efficiency of coherent detection.

Partial coherence and coherence length in StimPDC

open access: yes, 2023
In parametric down conversion, a nonlinear crystal is pumped by a laser and spontaneous emission takes place in signal and idler modes according to the phase matching conditions. A seed laser can stimulate the emission in the signal beam if there is mode overlap between them.

Tight Focusing of Partially Coherent Vortex Beams

open access: yesInternational Journal of Optics, 2012
Tight focusing of partially polarized vortex beams has been studied. Compact form of the coherence matrix has been derived for polarized vortex beams.

Research Progress on the Twisted Partially Coherent Beams

open access: yesNantong Daxue xuebao. Ziran kexue ban, 2020
Under the action of twist phase, partially coherent beams display their unique advantages in many applications fields, such as beam shaping, particle trapping, optical imaging, free-space communications, and so on.

Evolution of the orbital angular momentum flux density of partially coherent vortex beams in atmospheric turbulence

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
We investigate the behavior of the orbital angular momentum (OAM) flux density of partially coherent vortex (PCV) beams in atmospheric turbulence.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
