Network meta‐analysis of randomized trials in multiple myeloma: Efficacy and safety in frontline therapy for patients not eligible for transplant

open access: yesHematological Oncology, Volume 40, Issue 5, Page 987-998, December 2022., 2022
Abstract The treatment scenario for newly‐diagnosed transplant‐ineligible multiple myeloma patients (NEMM) is quickly evolving. Currently, combinations of proteasome inhibitors and/or immunomodulatory drugs +/− the monoclonal antibody Daratumumab are used for first‐line treatment, even if head‐to‐head comparisons are lacking.

Model Bias Identification for Bayesian Calibration of Stochastic Digital Twins of Bridges

open access: yesApplied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Simulation‐based digital twins must provide accurate, robust, and reliable digital representations of their physical counterparts. Therefore, quantifying the uncertainty in their predictions plays a key role in making better‐informed decisions that impact the actual system.

Specifications of the ACMG/AMP variant curation guidelines for myocilin: Recommendations from the clingen glaucoma expert panel

open access: yesHuman Mutation, Volume 43, Issue 12, Page 2170-2186, December 2022., 2022
Abstract The standardization of variant curation criteria is essential for accurate interpretation of genetic results and clinical care of patients. The variant curation guidelines developed by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) and the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) in 2015 are widely used but are not gene specific.

Comparing Risks for Binomial Reliability Assurance Test Planning

open access: yesApplied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Balancing consumer's and producer's risk is an important consideration when planning tests. Instead of focusing on finding a single best test plan, we introduce a general framework to systematically identify a set of binomial test plans by leveraging the inverse relationship between the two risks.

Using life‐history trait variation to inform ecological risk assessments for threatened and endangered plant species

open access: yesIntegrated Environmental Assessment and Management, Volume 19, Issue 1, Page 213-223, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Developing population models for assessing risks to terrestrial plant species listed as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) is challenging given a paucity of data on their life histories. The purpose of this study was to develop a novel approach for identifying relatively data‐rich nonlisted species that could serve

Making colonoscopy‐based screening more efficient: A “gateopener” approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 152, Issue 5, Page 952-961, 1 March 2023., 2023
What's new? Although colonoscopy is a widely used screening tool for colorectal cancer (CRC), it is relatively inefficient, as most of the screened subjects would never develop CRC even without screening. In the present study, use of a low‐threshold fecal immunochemical test (“gateopener” FIT) was investigated as a means of streamlining screening ...

Understand funding liquidity and market liquidity in a regime‐switching model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, Volume 28, Issue 1, Page 589-605, January 2023., 2023
Abstract We investigate the time‐varying relationship of funding liquidity (FL) and market liquidity (ML) in a Markov regime‐switching model. By using a comprehensive U.S. TRACE dataset, we provide strong evidence that FL and corporate bond ML are interlinked, and their impact on each other is highly regime‐dependent.
