Glucose Deprivation‐Driven Concurrent Induction of Apoptosis/Disulfidptosis/Ferroptosis by Tumor Targeting Nanoassemblies in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Innovative hybrid nanoassemblies installed with ferrocene, D‐α‐tocopherol succinate, and phloretin exploit the metabolic vulnerability of triple‐negative breast cancer under glucose starvation. By blocking glucose uptake, this single nanoplatform simultaneously orchestrates apoptosis, disulfidptosis, and ferroptosis to achieve synergistic and ...

Robust Interlayer Exciton Interplay in a Twisted van der Waals Heterotrilayer on a Broadband Bragg Reflector up to Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we highlight a unique material platform capable of producing three distinct room temperature (RT) photoluminescence (PL) resonances from spatially separated regions composed of a heterobilayer (HBL), a homobilayer (HoBL), and an heterotrilayer (HTL) transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) heterostructures configuration on a highly ...

Motif Editing for Reaction Pathway Switching From Formate to CO in Single‐Atom Indium Catalysts via Adjacent Carbon Site Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents manipulation of adjacent carbon site in single‐atom indium catalysts via editing In‐N4 motif to In‐N2O2 for reaction pathway switching. Incorporation of O atoms leads to significant electron enrichment on the adjacent carbon sites surrounding the In‐N2O2 motif, which facilitates *COOH adsorption and CO formation with high selectivity.

Decoupling Light Absorption From Photocatalytic Reactivity in TiO2 via Defect and Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid photoprotective material integrates N‐doped TiO2 with a metal‐phenolic network (MPN) to achieve broad‐spectrum attenuation and robust reactive oxygen species (ROS) suppression. Nitrogen doping extends attenuation into the UVA/high energy visible light (HEV) regions and facilitates fast charge recombination to inhibit ROS formation.

Measurement of the dineutrino system kinematic variables in dileptonic top quark pair production in proton-proton collisions at s = 13 $$ \sqrt{s}=13 $$ TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Differential top quark pair production cross sections are measured in the dilepton final states e+e − , μ+μ − , and e ± μ∓, as a function of kinematic variables of the two-neutrino system: the transverse momentum p T νν $$ {p}_{\textrm{T}}^{\nu \nu ...

Quantum Entanglement of the Final Particles in the Resonant Trident Pair Production Process in a Strong Electromagnetic Wave

open access: yesPhotonics
The resonant trident pair production process in the collision of ultrarelativistic electrons with a strong electromagnetic wave was theoretically studied. Under resonant conditions, the intermediate virtual gamma-quantum became real. As a result, the original resonant trident pair production process effectively split into two first-order processes by ...

Coagulative Granular Hydrogels with an Enzyme Catalyzed Fibrin Network for Endogenous Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

Amplitude analysis of ψ 3686 → γ K S 0 K S 0 $$ \psi (3686)\to \gamma {K}_S^0{K}_S^0 $$

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Using (2712 ± 14) × 106 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform the first amplitude analysis of the radiative decay ψ 3686 → γ K S 0 K S 0 $$ \psi (3686)\to \gamma {K}_S^0{K}_S^0 $$ within the mass region M K S 0 K S 0 < 2.8 $$ {M}_{

Design and Synthesis of Peptide‐Polyester Conjugates for Cell‐Mediated Scaffold Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work describes polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based biomaterials engineered to degrade in response to cell‐secreted proteases. A fast‐degrading peptide (Fast) sequence is integrated into a PCL conjugate backbone to produce a biomaterial that is selectively degraded by multiple cell types compared to its scrambled control (ScrFast).
