Two neutrino double-beta decay and effective axial-vector coupling constant
The theoretical and experimental study of the two-neutrino double-beta decay (2νββ-decay) is of crucial importance for reliable calculation of matrix elements governing the neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ-decay).

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

Multi-particle correlations in transverse momenta from statistical clusters
We evaluate n-particle (n=2,3,4,5) transverse momentum correlations for pions and kaons following from the decay of statistical clusters. These correlation functions could provide strong constraints on a possible existence of thermal clusters in the ...

The rare decays $\mathrm{K}^+\to ^+ \bar $ and $\mathrm{K_L}\to ^0 \bar $ are extremely attractive processes to study flavor physics because they are both exceptionally clean from a theoretical point of view. These modes are measured by the experiments NA62 at CERN in Switzerland and KOTO at J-PARC in Japan, respectively.

We present a very simple 4th-generation (4G) model with an Abelian gauge interaction under which only the 4G fermions have nonzero charge. The U(1) gauge symmetry can have a Z_2 residual discrete symmetry (4G-parity), which can stabilize the lightest 4G ...

By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...

α-decay properties of new neutron-deficient isotope 203Ac
A new isotope 203Ac was produced in the reaction 40Ca + 169Tm at beam energy of 226 MeV. One correlated α-decay chain was attributed to 203Ac. The α-particle energy and half-life were determined to be 8217(16) keV and 56−26+269 μs, respectively.

A self‐sustaining solar photoelectrochemical cell (SS‐PEC) is developed to recover uranium from aqueous UO22+ with concurrent organic oxidation and electricity production. The monolithical photoanode directly captures electrons from organic compounds, leading to the oxidation of organic compounds and the decomposition of uranium‐organic complexes ...
