Modeling study of divertor particle and heat flux asymmetries for EAST H-mode discharges
The BOUT++ transport code is run to study the effects of plasma drifts on the divertor out-in asymmetries (DOIAs) of particle and heat fluxes and their decay widths for EAST lower single null H-mode discharges.

Correlation properties of the accompanied particle motion relate motion main particles in processes of radioactive decay and internal conversion [PDF]
On installation of coincidences of -quanta with electrons and with law energy electrons close to zero area the spatial correlation of the direction emitting accompanying eas particles (electron "shake-off", Auger electron) with respect to the primary ...

Beta-decay properties of neutron-rich Ca, Ti, and Cr isotopes
Beta-decay properties of neutron-rich Ca, Ti, and Cr isotopes are studied within a deformed proton-neutron quasiparticle random-phase approximation. The underlying mean field is described self-consistently from deformed Skyrme Hartree-Fock calculations ...

Lorentz Violation in Fermion-Antifermion Decays of Spinless Particles [PDF]
If Lorentz and CPT violation exist, they could affect the decays of scalar and pseudoscalar particles. For a decay into a fermion and an antifermion (not necessarily of the same mass), both the total decay rate and the outgoing particle distribution may ...

One-Particle Inclusive B sub s -> D bar sub s X Decays [PDF]
We discuss one-particle inclusive B sub s -> D bar sub s X decays using a QCD based method already applied to B -> D bar X. A link between the right charm non-perturbative form factors of the semi-leptonic decays and those of the non-leptonic decays is established. Our results are compatible with current experimental knowledge.

Persistence of a Brownian particle in a Time Dependent Potential
We investigate the persistence probability of a Brownian particle in a harmonic potential, which decays to zero at long times -- leading to an unbounded motion of the Brownian particle.

Charged-Particle Decay at Finite Temperature [PDF]
Radiative corrections to the decay rate of charged fermions caused by the presence of a thermal bath of photons are calculated in the limit when temperatures are below the masses of all charged particles involved.

On low-scale baryogenesis from three-body decays [PDF]
Baryogenesis at the TeV scale from CP-violating decays of a massive particle requires some way to avoid the washouts from processes closely related to the existence of CP violation. It has been proposed that one way can be baryogenesis from three-body decays (instead of two-body decays).

Constraints on "rare" dyon decays [PDF]
We obtain the complete set of constraints on the moduli of N=4 superstring compactifications that permit "rare" marginal decays of 1/4-BPS dyons to take place. The constraints are analysed in some special cases. The analysis extends in a straightforward way to multi-particle decays. We discuss the possible relation between general multi-particle decays

To explore the impact of the overexpression of the multidrug‐transporter P‐glycoprotein (ABCB1) on membrane fluidity, we compared the transversal gradient of mobility and microviscosity in plasma membranes of drug‐sensitive Chinese hamster ovary cells (AuxB1) and their multidrug‐resistant derivatives (B30) using the fluorescent n‐(9‐anthroyloxy) fatty ...
