Accessible ecophysiological tools for seabird conservation

open access: yesAquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems, Volume 32, Issue 12, Page 1983-2002, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Seabirds are the most endangered avian taxa on Earth, with over a third of species globally threatened. To help slow their decline, conservation physiology seeks to determine how seabird responses to climatic and anthropogenic threats influence demographic processes, but it is not widely utilized in monitoring.

Reductive Supramolecular In Situ Construction of Nano‐Platinum Effectively Couples Cathodic Hydrogen Evolution and Anodic Alcohol Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The supramolecular framework reductant is developed to realize the in situ construction of highly dispersed ultrafine nano‐Pt. The nano‐Pt supported on the BCN carrier realizes multi‐scenario electrocatalytic water hydrogen production, and establish a high‐performance cathode hydrogen evolution‐anode methanol oxidation coupling system, presenting a low‐

TCMD: A High‐Throughput and Rapid Method for Screening Antimicrobial Ingredients from Renewable Bio‐Based Resources

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a strategy to screen the active compounds from bio‐mixtures via combining transcriptomic profiling and molecular docking. The proposed method demonstrates 100% correction in three different biobased mixtures and is 3–20 times faster than traditional approaches.

Ultralow Overpotential in Rechargeable Li–CO2 Batteries Enabled by Caesium Phosphomolybdate as an Effective Redox Catalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study represents the first application of a Keggin‐type polyoxometalate, caesium phosphomolybdate (CPM), as a bifunctional redox catalyst for rechargeable Li–CO2 batteries. CPM significantly reduced the potential gap between discharge and charge reactions to 0.67 V, outperforming most reported catalysts. It also exhibited a high discharge capacity

Magnetite Micro/Nanorobots for Efficient Targeted Alleviation of Inflammatory Bowel Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Improved reactive oxygen species scavenging capacities of functionalized micro/nanorobots (MNRs) are useful for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). MNRs can break the harmful bacteria in IBD, thereby eliminating inflammation and restoring the intestinal barrier function.

Amorphous Engineering Driving d‐Orbital High Spin Configuration for Almost 100% 1O2‐Mediated Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through an amorphization strategy, the electronic structure of single‐atom Co is effectively modulated from a low spin state (Co‐CCN) to a high spin state (Co‐ACN). The rearrangement of the electronic configuration optimizes the d‐band center resulting in the selectivity of 1O2 with almost 100%.
