Research on a special scarifier mechanism with finite element analysis method
—A scarifier mechanism with rotary tillage and antirotary grubbing is proposed for inducing the power of tillage in hardens soil. MAT147 material modal is amended by experimental method and soil high-speed cutting finite element modal is build through ...

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Particle finite element method applied to mould filling
The Particle Finite Element Method is applied to the solution of three dimensional casting processes with solidification problems for a viscous incompressible fluid. One of the most salient features of the method is to treat the classical Navier-Stokes equations in a fully non-linear Lagrangian description, including the large deformations of the fluid

A Particle Finite Element Method for Machining Simulations [Elektronisk resurs]
Metal cutting process is a nonlinear dynamic problem that includes geometrical, material, and contact nonlinearities. In this work a Lagrangian finite element approach for simulation of metal cutting processes is presented, based on the so-called ...

Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including
