Massive Klein–Gordon theory is quantized on a timelike hyperplane in Minkowski space using the framework of general boundary quantum field theory. In contrast to previous work, not only the propagating sector of the phase space is quantized, but also the evanescent sector, with the correct physical vacuum.

Odd entanglement entropy and logarithmic negativity for thermofield double states
We investigate the time evolution of odd entanglement entropy (OEE) and logarithmic negativity (LN) for the thermofield double (TFD) states in free scalar quantum field theories using the covariance matrix approach.

A Remarkable Relation in the Gauge Sector of Electroweakdynamics [PDF]
A precise empirical relation between the electromagnetic coupling alpha(m_Z) and sin^2(theta^ell_{eff}) --where theta^ell_{eff} is the effective electroweak mixing angle extracted from Z leptonic decays-- is made manifest: alpha(m_Z) = sin^3(theta^ell_ ...

Optical properties of cometary particles collected by the COSIMA mass spectrometer on-board Rosetta during the rendezvous phase around comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko [PDF]
40 000 collected cometary particles have been identified on the 21 targets exposed by the COSIMA experiment on-board Rosetta to the environment of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko from 2014 August to 2016 September.
