Effective Theory For Quantum Spin System In Low Dimension - Beyond Long-Wavelength Limit
An effective theory for quantum spin system in low dimension is constructed in the finite-q regime. It is shown that there are field configurations for which Wess-Zumino term contributes to the partition functions as topological term for ferromagnet as ...

Elementary Excitations of Quantum Critical 2+1 D Antiferromagnets
It has been proposed that there are degrees of freedom intrinsic to quantum critical points that can contribute to quantum critical physics. We point out that this conclusion is quite general below the upper critical dimension.

The Renormalization Group According to Balaban - I. Small fields
This is an expository account of Balaban's approach to the renormalization group. The method is illustrated with a treatment of the the ultraviolet problem for the scalar phi^4 model on a toroidal lattice in dimension d=3.

Metric Dimensions and Partition Dimensions of a Multiple Fan Graph
The metric dimension is a distinguishing set with minimum cardinality, while the partition dimension is a distinguishing set with cardinality. The purpose of this study is to find the metric and partition dimensions of a double fan graph which is the result of the join operation of the complete graph and the path graph.

Partition Dimension of Generalized Hexagonal Cellular Networks and Its Application
The notion of partition dimension was initially introduced in the field of graph theory, primarily to examine distances between vertices. The local partition dimension extends this idea by incorporating specific conditions into how vertices are ...

Noninvertible anomalies and mapping-class-group transformation of anomalous partition functions
Recently, it was realized that anomalies can be completely classified by topological orders, symmetry protected topological orders, and symmetry enriched topological orders in one higher dimension.

On the Locating Chromatic Number of Certain Barbell Graphs
The locating chromatic number of a graph G is defined as the cardinality of a minimum resolving partition of the vertex set V(G) such that all vertices have distinct coordinates with respect to this partition and every two adjacent vertices in G are not ...

Quantum elliptic Calogero-Moser systems from gauge origami
We systematically study the interesting relations between the quantum elliptic Calogero-Moser system (eCM) and its generalization, and their corresponding supersymmetric gauge theories.

This article emphasizes an extension of the study of metric and par- tition dimension to hypergraphs. We give a sharp lower bounds for the metric and partition dimension of hypergraphs in general and give exact values under specified conditions.eral and ...

Partitioning point sets in arbitrary dimension
We introduce a new type of partition called a parallel planes partition. We prove there exists a parallel planes partition of any set of n points in arbitrary dimension. This partition yields a data structure for the half-space retrieval problem in arbitrary dimension; it has linear size and achieves a sublinear query time.
