Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Reduced-Dimension Wiener Filter Based on Perpendicular Partition

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper addresses the reduced-dimension Wiener filter based on perpendicular partition. Two algorithms, i.e., cyclic per-weight (CPW) and batch CPW (BCPW) are presented, which can efficiently perform reduced-dimension adaptive beamforming.

Superstrings in thermal anti-de Sitter space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We revisit the calculation of the thermal free energy for string theory in three-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime with Neveu-Schwarz-Neveu-Schwarz flux.

Normal‐Appearing White Matter Injury Mediates Chronic Deep Venous Hypoxia and Disease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

Minimum Partition of an r−Independence System

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Graph partitioning has been studied in the discipline between computer science and applied mathematics. It is a technique to distribute the whole graph data as a disjoint subset to a different device.

The Partition Dimension on the Grid Graph

open access: yesJurnal Matematika, Statistika dan Komputasi, 2023
Graph G is a discrete set pair with the notation V(G)   with its element called a vertex and the set of different and unordered pairs with the notation E(G)   where the element is called edge. One type of graph Gm,n is a grid graph that is notated  is a graph of the result of the operation between two path graphs (Pm*Pn).  The set of partition∏ ={S1,S2,

Clinical Outcomes of SEEG‐Guided Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation in Children With Focal Drug‐Resistant Epilepsy: A Multicenter Real‐World Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective
