Memoir on the theory of the partitions of numbers. Part II
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London, 1899The subject of the partition of numbers, for its proper development, requires treatment in a new and more comprehensive manner. The subject matter of the theory needs enlargement. This will be found to be a necessary consequence of the new method of regarding a partition that is here brought into prominence.

Memoir on the theory of the partitions of numbers. Part III.
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London, 1905In this communication a "general magic square" is defined as I consisting of n 2 numbers arranged in a square in such wise that each row, column, and diagonal contains a partition of the same number.

Partition Threshold Collapse and Modular Congruences in Classical Number Theory
This study proposes that local curvature minima in the partition function p(n)p(n)p(n) are associated with modular congruence phenomena. Analyzing second discrete differences up to n=5000n=5000n=5000, we observe that known congruences (mod 5, 7, 11) align with curvature-collapse points.openaire +1 more source

Many problems of mathematics and statistical physics have their natural counterparts in the theory of multiplicative statistics of partitions of natural numbers and vectors. Such an equivalent representation is quite useful; it reduces the study of the limiting behaviour of certain characteristics of physical and mathematical systems to the ...

Wild partitions and number theory
2007Summary: We introduce the notion of wild partition to describe in combinatorial language an important situation in the theory of \(p\)-adic fields. For \(Q\) a power of \(p\) , we get a sequence of numbers \(\lambda_{Q,n}\) counting the number of certain wild partitions of \(n\) . We give an explicit formula for the corresponding generating function \(\
