Multi-jet production in deep inelastic scattering with Pythia
We introduce multi-jet merging for deep inelastic scattering in the Vincia parton shower in the Monte Carlo event generator Pythia 8. Merging combines event samples of different parton multiplicities with logarithmically enhanced parton-shower radiation.

Parton shower matching and merging [PDF]
With Run-II of the LHC starting its final year of data-taking, high precision theoretical predictions through Monte-Carlo event generators whose uncertainties match that of the recorded data are of highest importance. This talk summarises the progress of the field and highlight a number of recent developments.
