Energy Loss of Hard Partons in Nuclear Matter [PDF]
We report on recent calculations of the medium-induced gluon radiation off hard partons. The employed path-integral formalism reduces in limiting cases to the main ``jet quenching'' results of the existing literature.

Soft-gluon cancellation, phases and factorization with initial-state partons [PDF]
We outline arguments for the cancellation of soft singularities in transition probabilities and parton distributions with incoming partons and Wilson lines, and with observed jets or heavy colored particles in the final states.

QCD radiative corrections to parton-parton scattering
We present the matrix elements squared for all (2 → 2) and (2 → 3) parton scattering subprocesses calculated at O(αs3). The matrix elements are presented in n dimensions to regulate singularities due to the emission of soft or collinear radiation. We use these results to discuss one-hadron inclusive scattering, considering only a limited number of ...

We show that the incoherent elastic scattering of partons, as present in a multi-phase transport model (AMPT), with a modest parton–parton cross-section of σ=1.5–3 mb, naturally explains the long-range two-particle azimuthal correlation as observed in ...

Nonforward parton distributions [PDF]
Applications of perturbative QCD to deeply virtual Compton scattering and hard exclusive electroproduction processes require a generalization of usual parton distributions for the case when long-distance information is accumulated in nonforward matrix elements of quark and gluon light-cone operators.

Infrared singularities in multi-leg scattering amplitudes [PDF]
I discuss the state-of-the-art knowledge of long-distance singularities in multi-leg gauge-theory scattering amplitudes and report on an on-going calculation of the three-loop soft anomalous dimension through the renormalization of correlators of semi ...

Cone-dependent jet collisional energy loss in finite QCD medium
We derive a compact HTL-resummed expression for the leading-order cone-restricted collisional energy loss associated with a jet-initiating parton in a finite-size, finite-temperature QCD medium.
