THE PASSENGER CAR OF THE FUTURE
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1919<div class="htmlview paragraph">The limit of acceleration has been reached. What may well be considered a maximum for practical service has been secured. The present seven-passenger body is as roomy as could be desired. There should be no need for further increase in size.

Identification of physical parameters of a passenger car
1999 European Control Conference (ECC), 1999This paper deals with the identification of the physical parameters of a passenger car. After studying the local structural identifiability of two models of different complexity, the identifiable parameters which are unknown or difficult to measure are identified by minimising a multivariable, cost criterion in terms of maximum likelihood.

Detection of passengers in a car [PDF]
This thesis is focused on the research of the performance, suitability and reliability of some developed algorithms for face detection in the in-car environment. The vehicle interior is exposed to various illumination conditions which can complicate detection. Cramped space can also represent a problem, since it can cause occlusion.

Air conditioning of passenger cars
Electrical Engineering, 1933Many interesting design problems were encountered in the development of a suitable air conditioning equipment for railway passenger cars. In this article is presented a discussion of these problems together with a description of their solution, thus providing an account of a most interesting development as well as an outline of the requirements for ...
