Boletín de la Sociedad Argentina de Botánica, 2016 Turnera krapovickasii se distribuye en el noroeste argentino, sur de Bolivia y oeste de Paraguay. Presenta citotipos diploide (2n= 2x= 10) y autotetraploide (2n= 4x= 20). A fin de interpretar el papel de la autopoliploidía en la evolución de esta especie, se analizaron la frecuencia y distribución espacial de los citotipos.
