There are two ways in which the quantity of money may be included in a general equilibrium system: as a datum, whose value is fixed exogenously, or as an unknown, whose value is determined by the equilibrium system itself. Let them be called active money and passive money, respectively. Current monetary theory uses the first approach.

Is Kashmiri passive really a passive?
2014The present paper explores passives in Kashmiri, a Northwestern Dardic language of the Indo-Aryan family. Though Kashmiri has some special features like V-2 phenomenon, pronominal clitics etc. it has an analytic passive construction like its Indo-Aryan counterparts.
