Tunable Complementary Doping Strategy Enables High‐Performance Homo‐Channel CMOS in Monolayer WSe2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polarity‐selective modulation enables a homo‐channel WSe2 CMOS platform from a single 2D semiconductor. MoOx and AlN tune WSe2 toward p‐ and n‐type operation, respectively, yielding complementary FETs and inverters with balanced switching, high voltage gain, low static power, and promising scalability for 2D logic integration.

Mimetic Core‐Sheath Silk Sutures with Superior‐Strength for Pain Management, Anti‐Infection and Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sutures are crucial for tissue approximation and wound healing. Besides their strength limits requirement, they often fail to effectively address complications like infection and pain. Inspired by natural silk's “core‐sheath” structure, our suture features a wet‐spun core of n zinc‐fortified silk fibroin fibers (RSF‐Zn2+) after drawing with ...

HOF‐Stabilized Apple EV Nanocargo in an NIR‐Responsive Hydrogel Enables On‐Demand Therapeutic Modulation for Transdermal Deep‐Joint Osteoarthritis Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An NIR‐responsive transdermal hydrogel integrating apple EV nanocargo, berberine, piperine, HOFs, and graphene oxide enables localized osteoarthritis modulation. The platform supports enhanced transdermal delivery together with mild hyperthermia‐associated and redox‐related responses, leading to reduced inflammation and oxidative stress, improved ...

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Passive Optical Interconnects Based on Cascading Wavelength Routing Devices for Datacenters: A Cross-Layer Perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A general passive optical interconnect (POI) architecture based on cascading wavelength routing devices is proposed for datacenters. An analysis shows that with a proper port configuration, the logic topology of the proposed POI is equivalent to a DCell ...

A study on the multiple dynamic wavelength distribution for gigabit capable passive optical networks

open access: yesTecnura, 2014
This paper presents a data traffic based study aiming at evaluating the impact of dynamic wavelength allocation on a Gigabit capable Passive Optical Network (GPON). In Passive Optical Networks (PON), an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) feeds different PONs in
