First Real‐Time Softwarization of Complete Coherent DSP Stack with Gardner Timing and Clock Recovery

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT This work demonstrates the first fully softwarized coherent receiver digital signal processing stack implemented on a general‐purpose graphic processing unit (GPU) platform. By introducing a data‐parallel GPU implementation for Gardner‐based timing and clock recovery (TCR), the system achieves complete real‐time receiver operation without ...

Effect of Multiple Pharmacological Interventions and Magnetic Control on Capsule Endoscopy Gastrointestinal Transit Time and Diagnostic Yield: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 9, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Capsule endoscopy (CE) is widely used for non‐invasive evaluation of the small bowel; however, its effectiveness may be hindered by slow gastrointestinal transit and limited battery duration. A range of approaches—including pharmacologic agents, bowel‐cleansing preparations, and magnetically guided control—has been introduced to ...

Upgrading and extending PON by using in-band WDM overlay

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
This paper presents a new approach to upgrade and extend the reach of the current passive optical network (PON) by using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) in the standardized optical grid of gigabit PON (In-band WDM PON overlay).

Polarization‐Independent Complex Bragg Grating Filters on Silicon Nitride

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 19, Issue 23, December 3, 2025.
This work demonstrates multi‐band polarization‐insensitive optical filters on the 400‐nm thick silicon nitride platform, complying with the LAN‐WDM standard. The filters are based on cladding‐modulated Bragg gratings with judiciously designed grating dimensions.
