Cellular Snowballing: Cell Adhesion and Migration Drive the Self‐Assembly of Cell‐Microgel Biohybrid Spheroids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new class of biohybrid spheroids is engineered through the self‐assembly of adherent cells and extracellular matrix‐mimetic hydrogel microparticles (microgels). By mimicking a snowballing effect, this approach enables scalable formation of porous, millimeter‐scale spheroids with enhanced cell viability and molecular diffusion.

A Tac1‐Expressing Brainstem Pathway Underlies the Pathogenesis of Trigeminal Neuralgia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A critical TG‐Sp5CTac1‐PBNTac1 pathway drives trigeminal neuropathic pain (TNP). Tac1‐expressing parabrachial nucleus (PBNTac1) neurons exhibit heightened responses to innocuous stimuli in TNP, and chemogenetic inhibition of these neurons effectively prevents TNP development.

Feasibility Study of Using 5G Signals for Illumination Purposes in Passive Radar

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника
Introduction. Passive radars perform target detection based on reflected signals emitted by third-party transmitters. The absence of its own transmitter determines the main advantages of passive radars compared to conventional active radars: lower cost ...

Region-enhanced passive radar imaging

open access: yesIEE Proceedings - Radar, Sonar and Navigation, 2005
The authors adapt and apply a recently-developed region-enhanced synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image reconstruction technique to the problem of passive radar imaging. One goal in passive radar imaging is to form images of aircraft using signals transmitted by commercial radio and television stations that are reflected from the objects of interest ...

Alternating High‐Fat and Polysaccharide Diets Modulates Gut Phage‐Bacterial Interplay

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals how alternating high‐fat and polysaccharide diets reshape the human gut virome and enhance phage‐bacteria interactions. Using large‐scale metagenomic meta‐analysis and a time‐resolved mouse model, the authors show that diets strongly modulate phage abundance, lifestyle, and gene exchange, offering new insights into nutrition‐guided ...

Target Coordinates Estimation by Passive Radar with a Single non-Cooperative Transmitter and a Single Receiver [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Communications Software and Systems, 2020
Passive radar is a bistatic radar that detects and tracks targets by processing reflections from non-cooperative transmitters. Due to the bistatic geometry for this radar, a target can be localized in Cartesian coordinates by using one of the following ...

Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.

GNSS Based Passive Radar for UAV Monitoring [PDF]

open access: yes2019 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf), 2019
Monitoring of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targets has been a subject of great importance in both defence and security sectors. In this paper a novel system is introduced based on a passive bistatic radar using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) as illuminators of opportunity.

AI‐Assisted Self‐Powered Wearable Dual‐Mode Sensor With TENG and Stretchable Optical Fiber for Neurological Disorder Diagnostics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This manuscript presents the WDMS platform, an AI‐assisted, self‐powered wearable dual‐mode sensor for tele‐neurology. It integrates a contact–separation TENG insole with stretchable polyurethane optical‐fiber strain sensors to synchronously track plantar pressure and lower‐limb muscle deformation.
