MicrobiologyopenPasteurella multocida was detected in buffalo habitats through culture (49 isolates) and polymerase chain reaction confirmation (29 isolates). Antibiotic susceptibility testing showed high ampicillin resistance, underscoring the emergence of antimicrobial resistance and emphasizing the need for improved surveillance and targeted therapeutic strategies.
