The International Journal of the Arts in Society: Annual Review, 2011"Pataphysics is the science of imaginary solutions, which lies as far beyond metaphysics as metaphysics lies beyond physics- in one direction or another."* With these words Alfred Jarry defined 'Pataphysics about a 100 years ago. He was the first one, who realized the science of imagination, founded it and described its characteristics.
