Genus Patara Westwood, 1840 Type species: Patara guttata Westwood, 1840 Amended Diagnosis. Small (less than 5 mm) fragile forms. Head rounded in lateral view, frons weakly projected before eyes; in frontal view frons greatly compressed, usually with lateral margins of frons in close contact.
