Self-Bonded Hydrogel Inverse Opal Particles as Sprayed Flexible Patch for Wound Healing

ACS Nano, 2022
Wound healing is an important issue for regenerative medicine. Attempts in this area tend to develop functional wound patches to promote the healing. Here, we present self-bonded hydrogel inverse opal particles as sprayed flexible patch for wound healing.

Acoustic ceiling patch spray

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1995
An acoustic ceiling patch or textured material in the form of a sprayable composition including a base, a filler and a binder as well as a propellant or carrier storable and dispensable from a pressurized dispenser having a delivery nozzle and a removable dispensing tube.

Canola - Weed Identification for Machine Vision based Patch Spraying

2008 Providence, Rhode Island, June 29 - July 2, 2008, 2008
Canola oil is healthy cooking oil due to low saturated fat content. Current US demand is met by imports equivalent of 1.2 M ha of production each year. Another emerging use of canola oil is as bio-diesel feedstock. Both demands led to increased acreage and research focus. Early stage weed control is a critical operation to minimize yield losses.

More controllable acoustic spray patch

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2007
A more controllable acoustic ceiling patch or textured material in the form of a sprayable composition includes a base, a filler, an adhesive binder, an anti-foaming agent, a suspension agent, and rubber particulates or polyethylene particulates forming an aggregate suitable for spraying in the presence of volatile organic compound (VOC) propellants ...

More controllable acoustic spray patch compositions

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2004
A more controllable acoustic ceiling patch or textured material in the form of a sprayable composition includes a base, a filler, an adhesive binder, an anti-foaming agent, a suspension agent, and rubber particulates or polyethylene particulates forming an aggregate suitable for spraying in the presence of volatile organic compound (VOC) propellants ...

Operational research analysis of patch spraying

Crop Protection, 1993
Abstract Sprays to control infestations of major cereal weeds such as wild oats and blackgrass are expensive and these weeds frequently appear to occur in patches. Spraying only those patches with weeds thus appears attractive from both an environmental and economic viewpoint.

Autonomous systems for precise spraying – Evaluation of a robotised patch sprayer

Biosystems Engineering, 2016
Advances in different technologies, such as global navigation satellite systems, geographic information systems, high-resolution vision systems, innovative sensors and embedded computing systems, are finding direct application in agriculture. These advances allow researchers and engineers to automate and robotise agricultural tasks no matter the ...

A stochastic simulation model for evaluating the concept of patch spraying

Weed Research, 1998
The long‐term economic benefits of `patch' spraying are likely to be related to the initial spatial distribution of the target weeds, the demographic characteristics of the species and the weed control and crop husbandry practices to which they are subjected.

Patch spraying: future role of electronics in limiting pesticide use

Pest Management Science, 2003
AbstractDevelopments relating to the control of application equipment can deliver improvements in pesticide use by better matching applications to target requirements. This may have components relating to the spatial distribution of a weed, pest or disease or methods by which the target, particularly a crop canopy, can be described with respect to a ...

Reversibly Reconfigurable Liquid Metal Patch Antenna Using A Superhydrophobic Spray-Coating

2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2018
Liquid metal-based reconfigurable antennas typically must be flushed with an electrolyte to remove the nanometer-thick oxide skin of EGaln that adheres the walls of the microchannels. The EGaln residue prevents repeatable actuation, but the presence of electrolyte introduces other challenges owing to its often corrosive and electrically conductive ...
