Cost‐Effectiveness Analysis of Surgical Treatment of Varus Knee Osteoarthritis for Middle‐Aged Patients: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study With Over 10‐Year Follow‐Up

In a multicenter retrospective cohort study with over 10 years of follow‐up, middle‐aged (45–65) varus knee osteoarthritis patients had equivalent clinical outcomes after open‐wedge high tibial osteotomy (OWHTO) or total knee arthroplasty (TKA). However, OWHTO was substantially more cost‐effective than TKA.
