A study of search tactics for patentability search
Proceedings of the 1st ACM workshop on Patent information retrieval, 2008The goal of this study is to understand the search tactics patent engineers apply when they perform patentability search. We hope that the result can be used to: (1) provide references for novice patent engineers and ordinary users for patentability search; (2) imply some directions for improvement of future patent search systems.
