A Dialogic Path to Evidence-Based Argumentive Writing

Central to argument are evidence-based claims, requiring coordination of a claim with evidence bearing on it. We advocate a dialogic approach to developing argument skills and in the work reported here examine the further scaffold of prompts that exemplify functions of evidence in relation to a claim.

Compact argument for family of anomalies in path-integral formulation

We give the definition of a regularized axial-vector current in the path-integral formulation and a brief argument to prove the family structure of chiral and vector anomalies. Our argument avoids the necessity for a detailed explicit calculation.
