We advocate a dialogic approach to developing argument skills and in the work reported here examine the further scaffold of prompts that exemplify functions of evidence in relation to a claim.

Compact argument for family of anomalies in path-integral formulation
Physical Review D, 1992We give the definition of a regularized axial-vector current in the path-integral formulation and a brief argument to prove the family structure of chiral and vector anomalies. Our argument avoids the necessity for a detailed explicit calculation.
