An application of the Gyrfs path argument
2019We adapt the Gy rf s path argument to prove that $t-2$ cops can capture a robber, in at most $t-1$ moves, in the game of cops and robbers played in a graph that does not contain the $t$-vertex path as an induced subgraph.

A Path Still Taken: Some Early Indian Arguments concerning Time
Journal of the American Oriental Society, 19911. SCHOLARS IN EARLY INDIA GIVE us considerable evidence about arguments concerning time.' These arguments range from the very general to the particular, and the principal issues dealt with are as follows. In general, what requires one to operate with time (kala) as a separate ontological category?

We give a simple path integral argument of the electron localization phenomena in the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation at a WKB limit of large electron mass. Additionally, we present a many body. Bell path integral representation for the three-dimensional case.

Greenwashing and polyphony: argumentative paths and voices
2020In an argumentative perspective, this paper studies Greenwashing in advertisements, focusing on the staging of different voices that aim to support a discourse for the least informed. The paper’s empirical basis consists essentially of advertisements published in French and German magazines, spanning the period 1990 – 2018.

Different kinds of arguments typically include claims, warrants, and evidence. However, the very nature of claims, warrants, and evidence are discipline specific. A student's essay, for example, may exhibit features of argumentation while revealing fundamental flaws in historical thinking.

This paper focuses on the claim that luck egalitarianism is incompatible with Marxian theory because it allows for the possibility of a ‘clean path’ to capitalism. It explores the nature and structure of the clean path argument generally and critically discusses luck egalitarian versions of the argument.
