Variability studies in Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.) under mid-hill conditions of Bharsar, Uttarakhand [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Stress Physiology & Biochemistry, 2021
Twenty genotypes consisting local collections and varieties of fenugreek were evaluated in (RBD) randomized block design for the assessment of genetic variability parameters.

CORRELATION AND PATH COEFFICIENT ANALYSIS IN BREAD WHEAT [PDF]

open access: yesMesopotamia Journal of Agriculture, 2020
Fifteen genotypes of bread wheat in addition to the two local varieties (Sham6 and Abu-Graib3) were planted inside Mosul University under three spaces between rows (15, 25 and 35cm) using split plots system in randomized complete block design with three ...

Correlation and path coefficient analysis of economically important traits in Linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) germplasm

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2016
Correlation study with 105 linseed germplasms showed that seed yield exhibited highly positive significant correlation with number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, number of capsule per plant, number of seed per ...

Correlation and path analysis for yield and yield components in common bean genotypes (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) [PDF]

open access: yesRatarstvo i Povrtarstvo, 2013
Determination of breeding criteria is quite important for plant breeders. The present study was carried out to determine yield and its components which are affecting seed yield and to study the relationships between yield components and other ...

On Generalizing Sarle’s Bimodality Coefficient as a Path towards a Newly Composite Bimodality Coefficient

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
Determining whether a distribution is bimodal is of great interest for many applications. Several tests have been developed, but the only ones that can be run extremely fast, in constant time on any variable-size signal window, are based on Sarle’s ...

Association and path analysis for grain yield and its attributing traits under heat stress condition in tropical maize (Zea mays L.)

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2017
A study was undertaken to analyze grain yield and its component traits, and their relationships among themselves under heat stress conditions. A set of hybrids were evaluated during summer (mid-March sowing).

Path-Counting Formulas for Generalized Kinship Coefficients and Condensed Identity Coefficients [PDF]

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine, 2014
An important computation on pedigree data is the calculation of condensed identity coefficients, which provide a complete description of the degree of relatedness of two individuals. The applications of condensed identity coefficients range from genetic counseling to disease tracking.

Early Sowing Combined with Adequate Potassium and Sulfur Fertilization: Promoting Beta vulgaris (L.) Yield, Yield Quality, and K- and S-Use Efficiency in a Dry Saline Environment

open access: yesAgronomy, 2021
Field trials for two seasons (2018/2019 and 2019/2020) were conducted to investigate the influence of the addition of three levels of potassium (K) (K1 = 60, K2 = 120, and K3 = 180 kg K2O ha−1) and/or sulfur (S) (S1 = 175, S2 = 350, and S3 = 525 kg CaSO4

Variability of paths and differential equations with BV-coefficients

open access: yesAnnales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré, Probabilités et Statistiques, 2023
We define compositions $φ(X)$ of Hölder paths $X$ in $\mathbb{R}^n$ and functions of bounded variation $φ$ under a relative condition involving the path and the gradient measure of $φ$. We show the existence and properties of generalized Lebesgue-Stieltjes integrals of compositions $φ(X)$ with respect to a given Hölder path $Y$.
