Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

The functional integral formulation of the Schrieffer–Wolff transformation
We revisit the Schrieffer–Wolff transformation and present a path integral version of this important canonical transformation. The equivalence between the low-energy sector of the Anderson model in the so-called local moment regime and the spin-isotropic

Path-integral formulation of scattering theory
A new formulation of nonrelativistic scattering theory is developed which expresses the S matrix as a path integral. This formulation appears to have at least two advantages: (1) A closed formula is obtained for the S matrix in terms of the potential, not involving a series expansion; (2) the energy-conserving δ function can be explicitly extracted ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

An Integral-Equation-Based Variance Reduction Method for Accelerated Monte Carlo Simulations
In this work, we introduce a novel variance reduction approach utilising the integral formulation of the radiative transfer equation to calculate the radiance in a planar symmetric slab geometry.

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...

This study addressed how a senior research thesis is perceived by undergraduate students. It assessed students' perception of research skills, epistemological beliefs, and career goals in Biochemistry (science) and BDC (science‐business) students. Completing a thesis improved confidence in research skills, resilience, scientific identity, closed gender‐

Path Integral for Space-time Noncommutative Field Theory
The path integral for space-time noncommutative theory is formulated by means of Schwinger's action principle which is based on the equations of motion and a suitable ansatz of asymptotic conditions.
