Non-commutative Hilbert modular symbols
The main goal of this paper is to construct non-commutative Hilbert modular symbols. However, we also construct commutative Hilbert modular symbols.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

APS η-invariant, path integrals, and mock modularity
We show that the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer η-invariant can be related to the temperature-dependent Witten index of a noncompact theory and give a new proof of the APS theorem using scattering theory. We relate the η-invariant to a Callias index and compute it

Path integrals in Snyder space
The definition of path integrals in one- and two-dimensional Snyder space is discussed in detail both in the traditional setting and in the first-order formalism of Faddeev and Jackiw.Comment: 10 ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Coherent-state path integrals in quantum thermodynamics
In these notes, we elucidate some subtle aspects of coherent-state path integrals, focusing on their application to the equilibrium thermodynamics of quantum many-particle systems.

A histories perspective on characterizing quantum non-locality
We introduce a framework for studying non-locality and contextuality inspired by the path integral formulation of quantum theory. We prove that the existence of a strongly positive joint quantum measure—the quantum analogue of a joint probability measure—

Weak Coherent State Path Integrals
Weak coherent states share many properties of the usual coherent states, but do not admit a resolution of unity expressed in terms of a local integral. They arise e.g. in the case that a group acts on an inadmissible fiducial vector.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...
