Based on Martin Heidegger’s reading of Aristotle’s practical philosophy, I argue that virtuous disposition (hexis) occupies the space between potentiality and the actualizing of potentiality (energeia) and makes it possible for the virtuous person to be fully engaged with the whole of her being in her choices and actions.
