Electromigration Effects in Power Grids Characterized From a 65 nm Test Chip

IEEE transactions on device and materials reliability, 2020
A 65 mn test chip to study electromigration (EM) events in integrated circuit power grids was taped-out and successfully tested. A $9\times 9$ grid was implemented using M3 and M4 metal layers which was stressed under constant current and constant ...

Path Planning Based on Grid-Potential Fields

2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2008
We present a path planning model of crowd based on Grid-Potential fields. We represent terrain space as a potential field and discretize it into a regular grid. A voltage variable is defined at the center of each grid cell. The moving of crowd is view as the flow from high voltage to low voltage.

Power Dynamic Decoupling Control of Grid-Forming Converter in Stiff Grid

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2022
This article proposes a grid-forming based decoupling approach, which effectively mitigates the dynamic interactions between active and reactive power, especially suitable for system stabilization in ultrastrong grids with short-circuit ratio over 30 ...

Improved Local Path Planning Base on Grid Map

2018 13th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA), 2018
The research of unmanned mobile platforms has always been a hot topic and autonomous mobile is one of the key issues. To achieve autonomous mobility, a good path planning is needed. At present, there are many kinds of path planning methods and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, an improved local planning method is proposed ...

Research on Power Grid Inspection Path Based on Edge Computing

2020 International Conference on Urban Engineering and Management Science (ICUEMS), 2020
With the development of intelligent power systems, establishment of intelligent inspection paths is studied in this paper so that disadvantages such as inaccessible network, cumbersome operation, and low safety performance in existing power grid inspections can be solved.

Embedding cycles and paths on solid grid graphs

The Journal of Supercomputing, 2016
Despite many algorithms for embedding graphs on unbounded grids, only a few results on embedding graphs on restricted grids have been published. In this paper, we study the problem of embedding paths and cycles on solid grid graphs. We show that a cycle of length k is unit-length embeddable on a solid grid graph G if k is an even integer between four ...

Path Planning Algorithm for Mobile Robot Based on Path Grids Encoding Novel Mechanism

Third International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC 2007), 2007
Novel fixed-length decimal encoding mechanism is proposed, which is for techniques of path planning of mobile robot based on an improved genetic algorithm. Effective path grids are adopted to identify the robot's motion surrounding. The obstacles can be described as polygons based on the given grids.

Robot's path planning based on emulated finite resistive grids

2018 7th International Conference on Modern Circuits and Systems Technologies (MOCAST), 2018
This paper presents a robot's path planning method based on finite resistive grids. For this reason an environment with obstacles has been converted into a grid with nodes and edges. In more details, the proposed method is focused on the measurement of the least resistance path between the initial position and the goal position in the grid.
