Medical Care, 1979A Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire was developed using factor analytic techniques. The 19-item questionnaire uses a five-point Likert scale, has a coefficient alpha of .972, and consists of three factors. Validity was assessed using correlations with specific criterion items.
