Scalable Name Lookup for NDN Using Hierarchical Hashing and Patricia Trie [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Sciences (Switzerland), 2020
Named data networking (NDN) is a content-centric network for the future of the internet. An NDN a packet is delivered based on a content name instead of a destination IP address.

A self-stabilizing Hashed Patricia Trie [PDF]

open access: yesInformation and Computation, 2018
While a lot of research in distributed computing has covered solutions for self-stabilizing computing and topologies, there is far less work on self-stabilization for distributed data structures. Considering crashing peers in peer-to-peer networks, it should not be taken for granted that a distributed data structure remains intact.

Distributed Blockchain-Based Platform for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. [PDF]

open access: yesComput Intell Neurosci, 2022
Internet of Things (IoT)‐inspired drone environment is having a greater influence on daily lives in the form of drone‐based smart electricity monitoring, traffic routing, and personal healthcare. However, communication between drones and ground control systems must be protected to avoid potential vulnerabilities and improve coordination among scattered

Evolution Process and Supply Chain Adaptation of Smart Contracts in Blockchain

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Because of its unique decentralization, encryption, reliability, and tamper‐proof, the block chain system makes smart contracts break through the shackles of the lack of trusted environment, and its application field keeps expanding. We read the source code and official documents of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Hyperledger to explore the operation principle ...

Dynamic Naming Scheme and Lookup Method Based on Trie for Vehicular Named Data Network

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Content naming and lookup are decisive functions of the future architecture named data network (NDN). The core concept of NDN is the content distribution between consumers and content providers. The NDN supports advance vehicular networks that is famous with vehicular‐named data network (VNDN) with different naming schemes such as hybrid, flat ...

Resource Sharing of Smart City Based on Blockchain

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
The concept of smart city refers to the improvement of the quality of life of the city by making full use of idle resources by sharing. However, limited by the technical level, the current resource sharing system mostly adopts centralized data storage mode. Systems managed in this way are vulnerable to multiple threats. The tested blockchain technology

A Chip for a Routing Table Based on a Novel Modified Trie Algorithm

open access: yesVLSI Design, Volume 11, Issue 4, Page 405-415, 2000., 2000
The design for a routing table circuit for Ethernet‐, IP‐ and ATM‐applications is presented. Starting point for the design was an object‐oriented general behavior of the routing table. The selected data structure for the routing table is based on a modification of the structure denominated trie, saving one search level and memory space.

PATRICIA trie based time and memory optimization for fast network motif Search

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Animal Sciences, 2017
Network motif search is useful in uncovering the important functional components of complex networks in biological, chemical, social and other domains. PATCOMP - a PARTICIA based novel approach for network motif search is proposed in this paper. The algorithm of PATCOMP takes benefit of memory compression and speed of PATRICIA trie to store the ...
