Polyethyleneimine‐Modified Biosorbent Based on Banana Pseudostem Biomass for Environmental Remediation and Food Analysis

Biosorbents derived from banana pseudostem are functionalized with polyethyleneimine, with or without glutaraldehyde, and evaluated for dye removal and solid‐phase extraction. The materials exhibit high adsorption capacities and broad pH applicability in dye removal, while computational studies reveal amino groups as key interaction sites.

ABSTRACT Background Rhinoplasty outcomes in patients with thick nasal skin may be challenging due to the sebaceous nature of the skin, which can compromise tip definition and delay resolution of postoperative edema. Perioperative adjunct using isotretinoin is suggested as a well‐established treatment for acne and sebaceous hyperactivity.
