Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView. We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...Ayush Kumar Ganguli, Mohammad Nour Alsamsam, Ugnė Bagdonaitė, Van Truc Vu, Chun‐Jen Huang, Polina Kuzhir, Mindaugas Zaremba, Aurimas Kopūstas, Marijonas Tutkus +8 morewiley +1 more sourceDiscovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease
Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods

Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Limb girdle muscular dystrophy type R9 (LGMDR9) results from biallelic variants in FKRP. There is limited data to predict loss of ambulation (LOA) among those with LGMDR9. Methods
Participants in an ongoing dystroglycanopathy natural history study (NCT00313677) with FKRP variants who had achieved ambulation and were more than 3 ...Chandra L. Miller, Lauren N. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objectives
T‐cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T‐LGLL), reported in up to 58% of inclusion body myositis (IBM) patients, is a rare leukemia of cytotoxic or less commonly helper T cells. The range of myopathies in T‐LGLL and the impact of coexisting T‐LGLL in IBM are not well understood. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.Alice Ballerini, Alessia Casarini, Niccolò Biagioli, Laura Mirandola, Daniela Ballotta, Paul Summers, Simona Scolastico, Laura Madrassi, Maurilio Genovese, Marcella Malagoli, Gaetano Cantalupo, Giada Giovannini, Matteo Pugnaghi, Niccolò Orlandi, Laura Tassi, Valeria Cuccarini, Domenico Aquino, Elena Tartara, Fulvia Palesi, Giuseppe Didato, Paolo Vitali, the 3TLE Study Group, Roberta Di Giacomo, Fabio Doniselli, Federica Mazzi, Carlo Andrea Galimberti, Claudia A. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background and Objectives
Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...Elias El Otmani, Emmanuel Barbeau, Béatrice Lemesle, Emilie Milongo‐Rigal, Sophie Fernandez, Sandrine Charpentier, Jean‐François Albucher, Nicolas Raposo, Fabrice Bonneville, Patrice Péran, Jérémie Pariente +10 morewiley +1 more sourceClinical Practice Guideline for Evaluation and Management of Peripheral Nervous System Manifestations in Sjögren's Disease
Arthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.Objective
Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.Anahita Deboo, Robert Fox, Katherine M. Arthritis Care &Research, EarlyView. Objective
Somatic items used in depression assessments can potentially overlap with symptoms related to physical illness, including systemic sclerosis (SSc). No studies have looked at whether somatic depression items may be influenced by diffuse versus limited SSc disease subtypes, which are associated with varying degrees of symptom presentation.Sophie Hu, Marie‐Eve Carrier, Marie‐Claude Geoffroy, Meira Golberg, Linda Kwakkenbos, Susan J.
