Finnish consumers' expectations on developments and changes in payment habits. Survey in connection with the research project 'Finnish payment habits 2010' [PDF]

open access: yes
The Bank of Finland’s Finnish Payment Habits 2010 project predicts that Finnish payment habits will face substantial changes. The causes for these changes include: the standardisation and integration of European payment systems, development of payment ...

Tumor‐Specific Delivery of CD28 siRNA via Lyso‐PC C‐16 Modified Lipid Nanoparticles Overcomes Anti‐PD‐1 Resistance by Remodeling Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops 16:0 LPC‐modified lipid nanoparticles (LPC‐LNPs) with cancer cell specificity by exploiting altered tumor lipid metabolism. LPC‐LNPs encapsulating Cd28 small interfering RNA (LPC‐LNP‐Cd28) knock down cancer cell CD28 without affecting T cells, inflame the tumor microenvironment, and overcome anti‐PD‐1 resistance.

Simulation studies of liquidity needs, risks and efficiency in payment networks [PDF]

open access: yes
This publication consists of nine separate studies on payment and settlement systems conducted using simulation techniques. Most have been carried out using the payment and settlement system simulator BoF-PSS2 provided by the Bank of Finland.

Unconventional Room‐Temperature Antisymmetric Magnetoresistance in van der Waals Fe3GaTe2/Pt Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigated a special electrical phenomenon, known as antisymmetric magnetoresistance with four distinct resistance states, in 2D Fe3GaTe2/Pt devices at room temperature. By designing devices with two separated magnetic nanoflakes, we confirmed that the effect originates from spin–momentum locking rather than magnetic domain walls or interface ...

Impact of Electrolyte Formulation on the Phase Behavior and Interphase Formation of Sb/Graphite Electrodes for K‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electrolyte formulation is shown to govern both interphase chemistry and bulk phase evolution in Sb/graphite anodes for potassium‐ion batteries. A diglyme‐based localized high‐concentration electrolyte promotes a thin inorganic‐rich interphase, suppresses deep graphite potassiation, limits electrode swelling, and stabilizes amorphous KxSb formation ...
